I started smoking in my early teens, but I hid it from almost everyone. I spent much of my adult life ashamed of it, and denied myself the pleasure for many years. It was my husband, who doesn’t smoke, who helped me accept that smoking is part of who I am. I love to smoke and I finally don’t care what anyone else thinks about it.
